Derrick Henry breaks Ravens single-season TD record v. Texans on Christmas

After finding the end zone in each of his first 11 games of the regular season and scoring 15 times from scrimmage during that span, it looked like Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry was destined to break the franchise single-season record for total touchdowns before the team’s Week 14 bye.

However, his consecutive games with a touchdown streak snapped when he had a five-yard score for what would’ve given him the record negated by penalty in the second quarter of a Week 12 win over a Los Angeles Chargers. Henry went on a four-game scoreless steak but finally hit paydirt and made history in the process when he scored the Ravens’ first points of their Week 17 game against the Houston Texans on Christmas.
