You’ll commonly hear football analysts say that teams run because they win and don’t win because they run.

Sunday’s game against the Dolphins epitomized this principle. The Dolphins running game produced 136 yards on 26 carries (5.2 YPC) as they worked to shorten the game. Did that cost the Ravens the game? No. In fact, it had almost nothing to do with the outcome.

The Dolphins won because of the results of 5 pass plays. Let’s review:
