DeCosta Talks About Elevation To Ravens GM

After his first press conference as Ravens general manager, Eric DeCosta called his long-planned promotion a "relief."

Speaking to Brett Hollander and Keith Mills, he said he's "embraced the challenge" ahead to see the Ravens return to the playoffs while also staying under the salary cap.

"I cherish the opportunity to build this team and our vision and just build the best team for the Baltimore community," DeCosta said.

While DeCosta said he intends on keeping pending free agent linebacker C.J. Mosley, and hopes to keep veterans like Terrell Suggs around, he wasn't ready to announce any deals on Wednesday.
