Daryl Smith, Courtney Upshaw meet with other teams; Ravens bring back Marlon Brown, Chris Carter

As former Ravens Daryl Smith and Courtney Upshaw made their first visits of free agency Thursday, the organization brought back two other members of last year's team.

The Ravens announced Thursday that they've re-signed wide receiver Marlon Brown and outside linebacker Chris Carter. Brown wasn't tendered a contract last week as a restricted free agent. Carter was an unrestricted free agent.

Their re-signing leaves the Ravens with six unrestricted free agents still on the market. That group includes Smith, Upshaw, quarterback Jimmy Clausen, tight end Allen Reisner and defensive linemen Chris Canty and Micajah Reynolds.
