quarterback Robert Griffin III was selected with the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins and the Redskins gave up the farm to get him which included trading away multiple first round draft picks. Griffin had a great rookie season in 2012 as he was named offensive rookie of the year.
But at the same time, his rookie campaign stalled about after suffering a knee injury at the hands of former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Haloti Ngata and part of the reason why Griffin suffered the injury was due to the fact that he didn't know how to slide.
