The Baltimore Ravens signed former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Chris Matthews to their practice squad on Monday.
Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reported the news, and the Ravens confirmed their acquisition of the 26-year-old who boasts a 6'5", 218-pound frame.
Matthews broke out in a big way during Super Bowl XLIX with four receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots. Unfortunately for Seattle, he was unable to build on that performance and logged only four receptions in 2015 before being waived last Tuesday.
