Week 1 of the NFL regular season has not been kind to the Baltimore Ravens as of late. The Ravens are currently on a three game week 1 losing streak which dates back to the 2013 season. In 2013, the Ravens lost to the Denver Broncos on the road 49-27 as defending Super Bowl champions. In 2014, the Ravens lost at home to its division rival Cincinnati Bengals 23-16. In 2015, the Ravens lost the Broncos 19-13 on the road.
Now, in 2016, the Ravens host the Buffalo Bills and history says that week 1 plays a huge role in the Ravens chances for a postseason birth.
