The Browns signed Reggie Porter to their active 53-man roster off of Baltimore’s practice squad, as per the Browns official twitter account. To replace Porter, the Ravens signed Josh Thornton to the practice squad, as per the Ravens official twitter account.
Josh Thornton played college football for Southern Utah University. He went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft and was signed by the Detroit Lions as an UDFA. On the massive cut-down day, Thornton was released by the Lions.
In the preseason, he appeared in all four games for Detroit.
