A move that was expected this offseason has finally happened. The Baltimore Ravens will be releasing center Jeremy Zuttah. The news was broke by NFL.com reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala on Twitter:
Releasing Zuttah will create $2 million in cap space for the Ravens. It is not a lot of space, but every dollar helps. The Ravens originally traded for Zuttah from the Buccaneers in 2014 in exchange for a 5th round pick. In his first season he started all 16 games and played very well on the line. His 2015 season was cut short because of a torn pectoral muscle.
