With many NFL teams clearing shop and loading off players, the Baltimore Ravens have been fairly quiet. Today they finally got in on the action, making their first round of cuts. According to Jeff Zrebiec, the Ravens have cut cornerback Shareece Wright and safety Kendrick Lewis. It is exactly one year since Wright signed a three year extension with the team.
The team also made it official, sending out this tweet.
We have terminated the contracts for CB Shareece Wright and S Kendrick Lewis.

Per Zrebiec, the move will free up about $5 million in cap space for the Ravens.
