The Pro Bowl is such a controversial topic.
At the end of the day, the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Not only do guys completely deserving miss it, but players who have poor seasons will make it simply because of their name. It’s all about who knows you. It doesn’t matter if your fan base loves you if the rest of the nation has no idea who you are.
Guys get burned every year. Another part of that is the limited roster spots, of course. Obviously not everyone can get in, as it is supposed to be exclusive to the best of the best.
