The drawn-out preseason finalizes tonight as the Baltimore Ravens head to FedEx field to take on the Washington Redskins. The Ravens hope to extend their 16-game preseason wins streak into 2020.
The fourth preseason contest is arguably the least exciting but I’d argue the opposite. No, it doesn’t have the flair of watching QB Lamar Jackson’s progress or witnessing FS Earl Thomas III sporting Charm City’s colors; rather, the fourth preseason game produces the hopes and dreams of NFL hopeful’s desperately grinding for a job. Maybe I’m romanticizing a bit, as I often do with my writing, but I’d argue I’m not overly exaggerating.
