The Baltimore Ravens made two roster moves today, signing tight end Gavin Escobar and releasing offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom for the second time.
I’m not sure what the Ravens are doing with Tony Bergstrom at this point. He came in for Marshal Yanda in Week 2 and has since been demoted on the depth chart. He’s been released, re-signed, and released again now. The Ravens needed depth on the offensive line, but also needed help at the tight end position, so these moves make sense. It’s possible that Bergstrom could come back yet again. The signing of Escobar means that tight Maxx Williams could be placed on injured reserve.
