Baltimore Ravens inside linebacker Zachary Orr has been placed on injured reserve as the team claimed former Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Vince Mayle off of waivers according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.
Orr suffered a neck injury in last Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that caused him to miss practice this week. Orr leads the Ravens in tackles this season with 132 and has the following to his credit:
- Three interceptions
- eight passes defensed
- one forced fumble
- two fumble recoveries
Orr has certainly had a breakout season in his third year from the University of North Texas and will be one of the young rising stars on the Ravens defense for the next couple of seasons at least.
