Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon is out for four weeks

It could have been a lot worse for the Ravens. Tight end Ben Watson went down with an Achilles injury on the first play from scrimmage. Later in the first half, Ravens fans collectively held their breath as running back Kenneth Dixon laid on the grass with what appeared as a left leg injury. Dixon was only diagnosed with a MCL sprain, and a sigh of relief was let out around Baltimore.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported today that a MRI changed Dixon’s diagnosis to a slight tear of his MCL. The injury will require surgery and will sideline Dixon for a minimum of four weeks.
