Take it from the biggest Kenneth Dixon fan around, this injury hurts. The second-year back from Louisiana Tech was expected to make a big impact following a promising rookie season. Instead, Dixon underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will be out 4-5 months.
Obviously, that will give fans some hope of a return. But let’s be realistic. Even if he heals like the Wolverine and returns in four months, that is still all of August, September, October, and November. So that would mean he would be back in December, right? Not so fast. Kenneth Dixon would still have to serve his four game suspension, leaving him at best two games in 2017.
