The Baltimore Ravens have removed safety Matt Elam from the injured reserve/designated to return list to the 53 man roster today which was announced by general manager Ozzie Newsome. To make room for Elam, the Ravens waived cornerback Roberston Daniel.
Elam, selected by the Ravens in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, will get his chance to play for the first time since the 2014 NFL postseason when the Ravens battled the New England Patriots. Elam has missed a lot of time over the last two seasons as he missed the entire 2015 regular season due to a torn bicep injury and this year he missed the start of the regular season as he had a chip in his knee that required arthroscopic surgery.
