On Thursday, the Ravens released the jersey numbers of new Ravens, and Ravens that chose to change their numbers.
New signees include practice squad quarterback David Fales, and new return man Devin Hester. Fales is going with the number 2, while Hester is donning 14. Ryan Mink of the Ravens official website wrote that Hester wore 4 in college at Miami, and 14 may be as close as he could get to that number. Mink also noted that like Steve Smith Sr. and Anthony Levine Sr., Hester will add "Sr." to his nameplate as well. Hester wore 23 with the Bears, and 17 with the Falcons.
