Baltimore Ravens: former running back Justin Forsett retires

At this point in the offseason, when veteran free agents do not find places to play, they may call it quits to their career. This happened today with a former Ravens running back. Justin Forsett announced on Twitter that he will be retiring from the NFL after nine seasons.

Forsett bounced around between the Seahawks, Colts, Texans and Jaguars before signing a one year deal with the Ravens in 2014. Under offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, Forsett had a breakout year. He finished the season with a career best 1,266 rushing yards and totaled eight touchdowns.

His play was good enough to earn him a three year extension with the Ravens.
