Baltimore Ravens extending Willie Snead a wise move

Willie Snead has been far from a Pro Bowl wide receiver, but he’s a steady veteran who provides a young wide receiving core with leadership. The Baltimore Ravens identified this and decided they needed to retain his services headed into the 2020 season.

Snead signed a one-year, $6 million contract with Baltimore after initially signing a two-year $10.4 million deal in 2018. Snead has 223-yards and two touchdowns through seven games this season after recording 62 receptions for 651-yards and a single touchdown in 2018.

The move may come across as underwhelming, but it truly is a smart move.
