Hill is fast and elusive. He can catch the ball as a receiving threat from the backfield, or lined up as a receiver and in the open field his speed often equals big plays. He ran a 4.4 second 40 yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. He fits right in with the rest of the Ravens picks on offense. The Ravens had just drafted speedy receivers in Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin; speed was certainly on the mind of Eric DeCosta.
Hill is a smaller 5’10” 198 pound running back. He may not be the hammer in the running game that Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards are, but he is a down hill runner who doesn’t waste time getting to the open field.
