The Baltimore Ravens kept the backfield relatively untouched despite a few undrafted rookie signings but the offseason focus at running back has surrounded Alex Collins and the return of Kenneth Dixon. And while that’s warranted, Buck Allen is a player flying under the radar entering the final year of his rookie contract.
Allen went from a roster bubble player the last offseason to the best pass-catching running back for the Ravens in 2017. Danny Woodhead’s extended stint on injured reserve at the beginning of the season opened up an opportunity for Allen and he took advantage of it.
