Why does everyone cry about Flacco's contract and everyone is praising Carr's? A QB who has proven nothing!!

Answer: Statistically speaking, Carr has been more consistent, tossing 32 and 28 touchdowns in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Flacco’s career high is 27 touchdown passes, which he accomplished in 2014 under Gary Kubiak. The missing pieces for Carr however, include playoff success and a Super Bowl. To be fair, I’ve heard just as much criticism over Carr’s contract as I’ve heard over Flacco’s but it’s important to remember this: contracts are based on what the team believes you'll do over the lifetime of the contract, not what you've accomplished in the past.
