Cornerback Asa Jackson was signed to the Ravens practice squad on Tuesday. He returns to the franchise that drafted him in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL draft.
The Ravens released Jackson after training camp in 2015, but he returned to play in four games for the team last season. In 18 total games with the Ravens, he had plenty of issues in pass coverage.
With an outbreak of injuries at cornerback, Ozzie Newsome has decided to bring in some depth with experience in the system. Robertson Daniel, a long cornerback from BYU, is also on the Ravens practice squad.
