With Marshal Yanda out for the season with an ankle injury, all eyes have turned to Tony Bergstrom. Bergstrom will attempt to fill in for Yanda, who is arguably the best guard in football. Below is a quick look at how Bergstrom performed when he filled in for Yanda.
The clip above was Bergstrom’s first play of the afternoon. Although the play is successful, Begstrom completely misses his blocking assignment.
Bergstrom does a great job blocking Emmanuel Ogbah, but he does not finish his block, which allows Ogbah to tip the ball at the line of scrimmage.
