OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins showed no signs of a calf injury in returning to practice on Thursday.

Collins, the 13th-leading rusher in the NFL, missed his first practice of the year on Wednesday. But he didn't appear limited on Thursday and even jumped onto the field to run with the scout kickoff team.

This could be a productive week for Collins in going against Detroit. In six games without defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, the Lions' defense has given up an average of 150.8 yards rushing.
