What we once believed to be an extraordinary division race has now looked to be a rather boring one in comparison to others. Preseason, the AFC North looked like potentially the best division in football. Now, the entire division looks pedestrian and is a complete afterthought to the rest of the league.
How did this happen?
Thanks to the win-less Cincinnati Bengals, the division is already off to a poor start. Annual contenders in the Pittsburgh Steelers look lost. The Cleveland Browns have not lived up to their off-season hype whatsoever. And the Baltimore Ravens are too hot-and-cold to be taken seriously right now.
