Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn’t tell fans what they wanted to hear at his end-of-the-year press conference this week.
There has been a clamor for change for almost three years.
Harbaugh plans to stay the course.
He will retain his current coaching staff in 2018, with the exception of defensive coordinator Dean Pees, who officially retired after the regular-season finale against the Bengals.
To fill that role, Harbaugh is prepared to either promote an internal candidate, likely linebackers coach Don “Wink” Martindale, or look outside the organization with the favorite being former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, who previously served as the Ravens defensive coordinator.
