Ozzie Newsome’s draft record needs no introduction. Throughout the 2000’s the Baltimore Ravens developed a strong reputation for acquiring talent in the early parts of the draft, the later rounds, and even beyond. Newsome has added to his reputation by finding undrafted free agents (UDFA’s) who have gone on to make an impact.
These are the players who come into camp the hungriest. Thirty-two teams passed on them in the draft, and they want to push for a roster spot to make their NFL dreams come true. Almost every year, the Ravens have to decide amongst their bubble players, and a UDFA is in the mix.
