When the Baltimore Ravens ended the 2018-2019 season, Jackson had to prove that he could become a more refined passer. He had to prove that he could be a true quarterback. Jackson was given the starting quarterback job, before the Ravens ever intended for it to happen. He was very young, his potential was obvious yet it was obvious that he had a lot of work to do. In the 2019-2020 campaign, Jackson had an MVP season and asserted himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. A full offseason of hard work allowed Jackson to take his strengths and completely transform his game.
