2019 NFL Honors: Baltimore Ravens Greg Roman named Asst. COY

When you call the plays for one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history, you’re pretty deserving of the NFL’s Assistant Coach of the Year award. This was the case for the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator, Greg Roman. And yes, he was named Assistant Coach of the Year to the surprise of no one.

The Ravens offense was historically good in 2019 under Roman’s watch. Baltimore’s 2019 offense set the NFL record for most team rushing yards in a single-season. Quarterback Lamar Jackson became just the second quarterback to rush for over 1,000-yards in a single-season and even broke the record for quarterback rushing yards with 1,206.
