The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to wheel-and-deal this offseason. They've traded DE Calais Campbell to the Baltimore Ravens for a 5th round pick.
The trade allows the Ravens to get another talented piece on their defensive line, while the Jags add even more draft assets.
The 2020 5th round pick the Jaguars are getting back is originally from the Vikings. The pick was acquired by the Ravens as part of the trade for kicker Kaare Vedvik, who was cut by the Vikings 3 weeks later. The pick is #170 overall.
The Ravens will attempt to extend Campbell as well. He's in the final year of his deal and is set to count $15 million against the cap. Campbell is coming off a season of just 6.5 sacks, but remains one of the better defensive linemen in the NFL. An extension to lower his 2020 cap hit could be key for the Ravens.
