The 3 Top Needs For The Baltimore Ravens In The NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens lost to the New England Patriots in heartbreaking fashion during the playoffs, and will be looking to sure up their roster to try and get back to the Super Bowl next year. What needs to they have to address in this year’s draft?

RUNNING BACK

Justin Forsett had a surprisingly great year for the Ravens, but he'll be 30 years old next year, and history suggests he'll start to break down soon. Bernard Pierce has shown he's not the long-term answer in Baltimore, so look for them to go after one of the top prospects in the draft. Georgia's Todd Gurley and Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon are the two top options the Ravens will try to grab.

WIDE RECEIVER

Steve Smith, Sr. can't be productive forever (though he'll tell you otherwise), and Torrey Smith has shown that he can't be a consistent No. 1 receiver. Louisville’s DeVante Parker and Stanford’s Ty Montgomery are the best options for the Ravens should they go this direction.

OFFENSIVE LINE

Baltimore needs to find some depth on the offensive line as their current players age in order to maintain their run-first offensive style, as well as to protect Joe Flacco. Brandon Scherff from Iowa and Cedric Ogbuehi from Texas A&M are the potential first-round draft picks.
