In Ravens rumors tonight, former North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron may be on top of the Baltimore Ravens' draft boards going into the 2014 NFL Draft.
Per Nate Bouda of NFLTradeRumors.co, "Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net reports that “several sources” have informed him that the Ravens have North Carolina TE Eric Ebron as their “number one target."
"According to Pauline, Baltimore has “coveted” Ebron for quite some time," adds Bouda. "However, Pauline adds that the Steelers could be the one team standing in the way of the Ravens landing Ebron at No. 17 overall."
Bouda also notes that the New York Giants, who have been linked to Ebron throughout this offseason, are said to be jumping off Ebron's bandwagon to do perceived character issues.
The New York Giants' loss may end up being the Baltimore Ravens' gain, with tight end being one of the key positions which the team is looking to address come this weekend's draft. Yet, there are several other teams said to be extremely high on Ebron, so the Ravens may be in a "wait-and-see" pattern when it comes to potentially drafting the coveted tight end.
