Ravens safety Will Hill reportedly has a warrant out for his arrest in the state of New Jersey for a failure to pay child support. This would be Hill's second such incident, and follows nearly the same pattern. After serving a four-game ban for substance abuse at the beginning of the 2013 season, he was arrested in December of that year for the same violation. He was ultimately waived by the Giants.
In 2014, Hill missed the first six games of the season due to a violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy, but went on to excel at safety for the Ravens. Hill's 2013 arrest did not result in a suspension or league discipline after he paid the amount required, and he is not expected to be disciplined this time if he follows the same protocol.
Hill is clearly a talented football player - he was the best player in Baltimore's secondary after serving his suspension - but this latest news won't quiet any of the questions about his decision-making or judgment.
The Ravens are reportedly aware of Hill's situation, but have not commented as of press time.
