In Ravens news tonight, former Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver Cody Latimer visited with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, sparking speculation that the Ravens could be targeting him in the 2014 NFL Draft.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, "although the Ravens acquired five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith during free agency, retained Jacoby Jones with a new contract and have Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown back, they remain interested in bolstering the wide receiver position. Besides Latimer, the Ravens also hosted USC wide receiver Marqise Lee and Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin for visits."
Latimer presents an intriguing blend of athleticism and speed, boasting both a 4.38 40-yard-dash time and a 39-inch vertical leap at Indiana' pro day.
He is coming off of surgery on his left foot and his currently projected to land somewhere in the second or third round of May's NFL Draft -- a spot where the Baltimore Ravens could be coveting the converted basketball player.
