The Bengals started the game with an 80-yard touchdown drive that gave them a lead from the get-go, and they were able to hold off the Ravens every time they got close.
Baltimore cut the lead to 7-6 at halftime, but Cincinnati came out and scored on their first drive of the second half, but were stagnated from that point on.
Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco led two touchdown drives (and a two point conversion) in the second half as Baltimore regained the lead, but the Bengals offense managed to regroup and score the game-winning touchdown with under a minute to play.
Turning Point: The Bengals had the ball on a 4th-and-goal on their last drive with everything on the line, and quarterback Andy Dalton managed to sneak the ball across the goal line for the second time in the game, giving Cincinnati the win.
Key Stat: This game was even throughout and that shows in the stat sheet, with Cincinnati having a slight edge in total yards. That difference came at the end of the game, when Dalton was able to take his team down the field for the winning touchdown.
Cincinnati MVP: Andy Dalton played like a franchise quarterback in today's game, completing 21/28 passes for 266 yards, and also contributed two rushing touchdowns.
Baltimore MVP: Rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro was a bright spot for the Ravens in this game, rushing for 27 yards and scoring two touchdowns on only seven carries. Look for him to get a heavier workload next game.
