The Baltimore Ravens missed out on the playoffs for the third consecutive season, something that doesn't sit well with the coaching staff and front office. However, they don't feel as if they're that far away from being a contender in the AFC North if they address a few areas this offseason, especially in the draft.
Here are the three players the Ravens should target in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

1) Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
Had Sutton declared for the NFL Draft last season, he likely would have been a Day 2 pick. Instead, he came back to school and is now considered a first-round pick. Size (6-foot-4, 216 lbs.), speed, and production (48 catches, 752 yards, nine touchdowns) are all there for Sutton, but the questions with him come from playing against Group of 5 competition. Baltimore needs to find a starting-caliber wide receiver and Sutton provides the best bet to be that at the end of the first round.
2.) Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
Tremaine Edmunds NFL Draft stock is soaring due to his size-speed skill set, plus athletic ability. The Ravens for years have shown interest in linebackers and Edmunds may be the next great Baltimore linebacker. With Terrell Suggs entering his 16th NFL season at age 35, look for the Ravens to look at Edmunds in the first round of the draft. He led the Hokies with 109 tackles, adding 5.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles this past season.
3.) Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
Guice is a powerful runner with some wiggle to him, a perfect running back in a tough Ravens offense. Baltimore has plenty of running backs on the roster, but none of them have shown the ability to be an every-down running back. Adding Guice would take pressure off quarterback Joe Flacco and allow Baltimore to lean on its run game. Guice led the Tigers with 237 carries, 1,251 rushing yards, and 11 TDs last season.
