The Baltimore Ravens lost a few players in free agency that have created some areas they need to address to get back to playoffs, so they may make a splash on draft day via a trade or draft pick. While we’re not necessarily expecting any of these trades to happen, we wouldn’t be surprise. Here are 3 draft day trades the Ravens could make when the 2015 NFL Draft rolls around:
1) Trade 1st-round pick (#26) and 2nd-round pick (#58) to Rams for 1st-round pick (#10)
Baltimore would like to add a cornerback, and with just a few needs, they could trade up to take Michigan State's Trae Waynes, the top corner in the draft. St. Louis have shown their willingness to trade back in the 1st-round to get more picks, making them the perfect partner for his move.
2) Trade 1st-round pick (#26) to Jets for 2nd-round pick (#37) and 4th-round pick (#104)
New York has the No. 6 overall pick, but they could trade back into the first round to grab one of the top running backs in the class. Baltimore doesn’t have any overly pressing needs, so they might be willing to trade out of the first round to get an extra pick to create added depth.
3) Trade 1st-round pick (#26), 3rd-round pick (#90) to Chargers for 1st-round pick (#17)
Baltimore did re-sign running back Justin Forsett, but he'll turn 30 years old this season and backup Lorenzo Taliaferro isn't an every down back. San Diego is the only team picking above the Ravens that need a running back, and making this move would allow them to pick either Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon or Georgia's Todd Gurley.
