PHILADELPHIA -- Yefry Ramirez cruised through his first four innings against the Phillies on Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park, but an error from Chris Davis derailed his start in the fifth, and the Orioles never recovered in a 4-1 loss.
Ramirez faced the minimum through four frames, allowing just a walk to Carlos Santana, owner of the third-best walk rate in baseball.
He walked Nick Williams to lead off the fifth, then Scott Kingery doubled. Jorge Alfaro knocked a dribbler down the first-base line, which slipped under Davis' glove.
