There will be baseball played tonight. Whether an act of hubris or prudence, the Dodgers tried a “bullpen game” approach on Tuesday night, and it did not go well. The Yankees staved off elimination with a convincing 11-4 win at home, scoring against each of the four Dodger arms they faced, including a grand slam from shortstop Anthony Volpe. From the stands, this guy kept it classy, of course, trying to literally pry a fly ball out of Mookie Betts’ glove while boosting the reputation of Yankees fans and getting ejected in the process.
