With freezing temperatures looming, Orioles remember the coldest games of their lives

Before they bundled up to head onto the field Saturday evening for batting practice ahead of a game where temperatures could drop into the 30s with high winds and the potential for wintry precipitation, the weather was a major topic of conversation in the Orioles clubhouse.

Given that, it seemed only natural to ask some of the team’s natives of cold areas about the worst conditions they’ve played games in. Everyone has one game that sticks out to them as particularly bad. These are those memories.

- Right-hander Kevin Gausman had his rehabilitation start with Double-A Bowie scrapped Saturday because of the weather, and said he’d rather not work in these conditions when it’s a rehab start.
