BALTIMORE -- Right-hander Tyler Wilson was in the Orioles' clubhouse Sunday morning, and he will travel with the big league club to the West Coast, ready to plug a hole that will likely open Monday.
"He is traveling with us to Oakland instead of going through commercial airlines, a good move," manager Buck Showalter said. "Preparing in case [Chris Tillman] can't pitch [on Monday]. He would start."
Wilson -- who is ranked as the O's No. 9 prospect -- has trekked between Triple-A Norfolk and Baltimore on multiple occasions this season, and each callup has increased the 25-year-old's comfort level.
