The switch-hitter appeared in five games for Norfolk and Double-A Bowie, and he batted a combined .313 (5-for-16) with two walks.
Wieters, the fifth overall pick in the 2007 Draft, has hit .257 with 92 home runs in six seasons for the Orioles, and he's been an American League All-Star three times.
