Is the lack of chatter surrounding the Orioles vacant manager and executive roles concerning anyone else? As soon as it was announced that Buck Showalter and Dan Duquette were not being retained beyond 2018, every publication put out a list of potential successors. Since then: crickets.
There have been no rumored meetings, no handshake deals, no word on what the future holds for this team. For a club that was booted out of the playoff discussion about a month into the season, this is a tad concerning. It’s not possible that they didn’t develop some sort of plan, right?
