The Orioles are a bad baseball team regardless of the venue, but it is truly astounding how poorly they play away from Camden Yards. There is potential that the O’s do not end up with the worst home record in baseball. Their 24-44 record in the friendly confines is only one win worse than the Royals, and just three behind the Padres. With 13 games remaining at Oriole Park, there is hope.
What the O’s have no chance of salvaging is their record away from Oriole Park. Coming into today, they are a measly 17-54 on the road with just 10 games left to be played.
