Hello, friends.
Another day has dawned with the Orioles in fourth place in the American League East. They are now 13.5 games back of the division-leading Red Sox and with Monday’s loss were officially eliminated from possibly winning the division.
They will reach that point before long with the second wild card spot. After Monday’s loss, the Orioles remain 5.5 games behind the Twins. However, their elimination number - the number of O’s losses and Twins wins that will end even the minute hopes remaining - is down to just seven with eleven games to play.
