It’s the day before the trade deadline, and as the Orioles wrap up their nine-game West Coast trek this afternoon, trade rumors continue to swirl around the team.
Mike Elias is expected to have at least one more trade up his sleeve after dealing away Andrew Cashner in mid-July. But who’s going to be sent packing by tomorrow? Mychal Givens? Jonathan Villar? Trey Mancini? Maybe somebody we’re not expecting? And will the Orioles target raw international talent, as they did by acquiring a pair of Venezuelan teenagers in the Cashner deal, or will they look for prospects who are at a more advanced level?
