Good morning, Camden Chatters.
Who’s watching tonight’s All-Star Game? Are you inviting over all your friends and family, ordering pizza, getting snacks, and gathering around the television for this can’t-miss spectacle?
OK, maybe not. The All-Star Game isn’t really the must-see event that MLB wants it to be, usually pulling in tepid TV ratings. I don’t think I’ve ever stood around the water cooler the next day to talk about it. Partly because my office didn’t have a water cooler.
Still, I’ll be tuning in. As a baseball fan, I get a kick out of watching the best players in the game all gathered on one field for a couple of hours, playing side-by-side with the guys they spend the rest of the season trying to beat.
