Good morning Birdland,
The Orioles lost last night as they—along with most of the league’s “contenders”—attempt to find some kind of footing in the season’s second half. Since the all-star break, the O’s are 15-15, and they have failed to win more than two games in a row. And yet, they find themselves just half a game back of the Yankees in the AL East and only one game back of the Dodgers for the best record in all of baseball. It’s been a weird season.
It’s pretty clear that the O’s are still searching for a few things.
